What is "Evaluation Day"?
Before the season, each flag football player must go through a series of drills on evaluation night to determine their speed, agility, and arm strength. We then take these evaluations and use them to create the teams. The goal is for each team to be equal in talent, ability, and skill. On this night, players are also sized for their uniform. Cheerleaders must show up on evaluation night to size for uniforms but they do not go through an evaluation.
What does the registration fee cover?
For flag football players, it covers the jersey, flags, and a wristband. Players provide their own shorts, socks, and cleats (if desired, but not necessary).
For cheerleaders, it covers the uniform, pom poms, and a megaphone.
How long is the season?
There are 10 games in the season. There are three practices before the first game. There is an Awards Celebration to close out the season. Basically, it is a commitment of 12 weeks from start to finish.
