WOW 90.9 is on the air!

Welcome to the new WOW 90.9! We’ve been working on bringing a new locally owned and operated contemporary Christian music station to south Alabama and northwest Florida for a long time now and it’s finally here. Even though it’s on the air, you’ll continue to hear us adding new things, new people, new features and new ways to reach our area with the message of Jesus.

Part of that continued growth means we need two very important pieces of equipment that will ensure our sound quality is as good as any station on the dial; and to hire three full-time staff members that will manage the business, programming, and promotions & community relations aspects of the station. They will also be part of the WOW on-air team. The total amount we need to raise for those pieces of equipment and staff positions is $75,000. Our goal is to find 1,000 people who would be willing to contribute $75 toward the launch of WOW 90.9, and the mission of encouraging listeners in their Christian walk and introducing non-believers to Christ through contemporary Christian music. If you can give more, that would be great, but even if you can’t afford $75, whatever you can give will be appreciated.
