Safe Families for Children is a movement of people surrounding struggling families with extended family-like support systems in order to keep kids safe and families together. We exist to bring overwhelmed parents real practical support to reverse the flow of children into Foster Care. We work by training, vetting, and supporting circles of support that can come alongside overwhelmed and socially isolated families as a group to bring caring, compassionate community. Our goal is family stabilization and parental resilience that lasts. Our organization has been around since 2003 and has a 99% success rate at keeping families together. We are just beginning to build our volunteer army here in Northwest Florida and we need you! We believe everyone can do something to support a socially isolated family, so all skills, gifts, and abilities are needed!
